Who doesn’t love a good pair of boots?
A trend that I plan to follow from now until forever, are over the knee/knee high boots. For someone like me, who is short as it is (5’3″ to be exact) these boots naturally make my legs look a little longer that they are, and I will take that any day of the week. Aside from that these boots can make any outfit a little nicer than it actually may be which is always a plus. Most of the time I tend to go for the suede material, but they come in so many colors and materials which makes them pretty universal. I myself have only really gotten into wearing them through the fall and winter months, but I have seen some people style them even in the summer. Personally I think that these are just a wardrobe staple and can really just make any outfit come together.
My personal favorite boots are the ones I have included in the pictures above. They are made by Lucky Brand and are called the Ramsden Over The Knee Boot. I bought them last year at DSW and paid $150.00, but they are actually on sale right now so be sure to check it out! They come in black and a really pretty grey color that I would’ve gotten if I wasn’t looking for an every-day black boot. The heel is the perfect height to add a little bit of height without looking like your wearing high heels, but for someone like me I’m always looking to add whatever I can to my height.
Here, I styled them with another item I’ve previously mentioned which is the Cape Scarf from Madewell over a black simple low back bodysuit from Free people, and of course my Madewell jeans which I wear on a daily because I love them so much and they are so comfortable. These boots are super universal and can be worn with pretty much any outfit. Knee high boots are something everyone should have at least one pair of, if not multiple (I know I have plenty).
