An Ultra Cozy Look
Hey guys! It seems like forever since I’ve posted and I’m mad at myself for taking this long to write a post, but I have been trying to get a routine down pat so that I can focus on a consistent schedule. I have been working on my blog a little to get it exactly where I want it to be, and I am happy with where it’s at right now! So now all I have to worry about is posting, the cosmetic things are done (for now). With that being said, I missed writing but didn’t want to produce content just for the sake of posting because it’s when I planned to post. I like to post things I think that will be beneficial to y’all or at least enjoyable to read, I would never post something I don’t enjoy or something just for the sake of posting.
Today I wanted to share a look that I’ve been loving. I live in New Jersey and as I’ve said before the weather is unpredictable and can go from 50 degrees to 10 degrees (as I am writing this it’s 10 degrees) which makes it hard to dress appropriately! I have also realized, I hate regular warm winter jackets (give me a cute fashionable one) but of course on certain days there is just no getting around wearing one. For this look, I took a big bulky cardigan and paired it with one of my favorite sweaters. I really like the way these paired together because it kept me nice and warm but also didn’t make me look like a giant marshmallow. Since the cardigan is the big and bulky aspect of the outfit, the sweater still gives shape to your body. That is definitely the trick when wanting to pair a sweater with a cardigan, keep the sweater on the thinner, tighter side. I also have been loving the front tuck sweater look which also benefits this look well. It makes the sweater a different length than the cardigan and doesn’t take away from whatever pants your wearing (in this case of course they are my favorite Madewell jeans). Aside from that, I am in love with both of these colors, this fall and winter I have been totally into the warmer colors (with the exception of black) because they make my skin look so much better, and it helps hide how pale I really am. This cardigan is so versatile and neutral that it can be worn so many ways and still keep you warm which is a major plus this time of year. I dressed this outfit down with a pair of converse, but you can totally do a little bootie to give it a more dressy vibe, or a knee high would look great with a pair of skinny jeans!
I hope you found this helpful and I hope I can keep sharing posts this winter that will help you stay warm but also look super cute and fashionable! Any cardigan is a great start to that, even with a jacket over them they just add to any outfit. I would love to know if you guys like the fashion posts like these, so let me know down below! You can also scroll down and shop this post, I’ve linked everything you see here! Happy Monday, and see y’all Friday!
As always thanks for reading!
With Love, Taylor
